In 2009, Melissa graduated from Springfield College from the Sport Management program. Since starting at Springfield College in 2005, she has been with the American Hockey League (AHL). She started as the Coordinator of Team Business Services. In 2019, Melissa was promoted to Vice President of Hockey Operations/Governance.
