Tim Leiweke

President and Chief Executive Officer – Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment

Tim Leiweke was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) until 2015. Before assuming his position at MLSE in 2013, Leiweke served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) – owners of the Los Angeles Kings (NHL), the Los Angeles Galaxy (MLS) and part of the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). Leiweke has also acted as the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Skiing. In addition to this, he spent four seasons as the President of the Denver Nuggets (NBA) and three years as Vice President of the Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA). He began his career in 1979 as the Assistant General Manager of the St. Louis Steamers of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Leiweke has had enormous success in over thirty years working in professional sports.
