Tim Bezbatchenko has been the General Manager of Toronto FC since 2013. Prior to joining Toronto FC, Bezbatchenko spent three years as Senior Director of Player Relations and Competition with Major League Soccer (MLS). Bezbatchenko has been instrumental in making changes that have led to the team’s first MLS playoff berth, including roster changes and creating a new vision for Toronto FC. His most notable acquisitions have been Jermain Defoe, Michael Bradley, and Sebastian Giovinco.
