Steven Fehr has acted as legal counsel to the MLBPA since 1980. He represented the MLBPA during the collusion cases of the late 1980s and has been a significant member of the MLBPA’s legal team ever since. He played a prominent role in negotiating the 2002 and 2006 Basic Agreements, as well as multiple negotiations over the Joint Drug Agreement. Fehr also played a major role in the 2012-13 NHL lockout, working on the special counsel team for the NHLPA.
