Sam Cosentino

Sam Cosentino is a Canadian born sportscaster currently working for Sportsnet as an NHL Draft Analyst. Growing up, Sam loved baseball and hockey and his passion for sports landed him a job as a bat boy with the Toronto Blue Jays during high school. Afterwards, he attended College in Michigan on a baseball scholarship and pursued broadcasting during the off-season. In 2003, Sam accepted a position to be a commentator for the Canadian Baseball League which led to a job as the Play-by-Play announcer for the Montreal Expos in 2004. Throughout his career, Sam has broadcasted games in the CHL, AHL, NHL, and was also the commentator for the Women’s Ice Hockey Gold Medal game between the United States and Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
