Paul Hardy

Events and Competitions Director – International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) 

Paul Hardy has been the Events and Competitions Director for the IAAF since 2007. He first began working for the IAAF in 1987 and represented the Federation in a wide range of positions such as a Doping Control Officer, Technical Officer and Deputy Director of Competitions. Hardy also has a marketing background and worked for five years on many different events around the world including the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France and the 2005 MasterCard Memorial Cup. In his current role, he works to bring the world’s best teams together to compete in Olympic qualifying events.
