From 2000 to 2008, Paul Godfrey had been the President and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays. Prior to taking on the role of President and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, Godfrey served as President and CEO of the National Post, and spent sixteen years with Sun Media Corporation, eventually taking the role of President and CEO. Godfrey has a proud record of public service including a record four terms (eleven years) as the Chairman of the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto. He is the Chairman of the Board of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and currently serves on various other boards including, Astral Media Inc, Cargojet Income Fund and serves as Vice Chair of Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care. Godfrey has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
