Donald Meehan founded Newport Sports Management Inc. in 1981, and has since established the company as one of the most successful player agencies in the hockey industry worldwide. A graduate of the McGill Faculty of Law, Meehan has guided the careers of some of the greatest players including NHL All-Stars such as Pat LaFontaine, Wendel Clark, Al MacInnis, Trevor Linden, Nick Lidstrom, Steven Stamkos, Drew Doughty, Henrik Lundqvist and Jarome Iginla. Don has also been recognized by The Sporting News as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Sport.
