Diana Matheson

Founder and Chief Growth Officer, Northern Super League

Diana Matheson is a Canadian former professional soccer player who played for the Canadian national team from 2003 to 2020 and multiple professional women’s teams over the course of her career, winning two bronze Olympic medals. In 2022, she became Chief Executive Officer of Project 8, the organization responsible for launching Canada’s first professional women’s soccer league – the Northern Super League (NSL). The NSL will start play in 2025, featuring teams in Calgary, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver.
