Ron MacLean is a nine-time Gemini Award Winner and a two-time recipient of the George Gross Award, honouring Excellence in Sports Broadcasting. In 2008, MacLean hosted Beijing 2008: The Olympic Games, which marked his ninth Olympic Games on CBC. MacLean is a house-hold name as the co-host alongside Don Cherry on Coach’s Corner on Hockey Night in Canada.
