Mark Cohon carried out his role as commissioner of the CFL from 2007 to 2014. Prior to his role with the CFL, Cohon was an executive with Major League Baseball International, where he was Director of Corporate and Game Development. In addition, he has held executive positions with both the NBA and NBA Europe. Cohon was appointed to the Order of Ontario in 2013 for his work as a leading Canadian sports executive and for his philanthropic achievements outside of football.
