Born and raised in Vancouver, Jody Vance became the first woman in Canadian television to host her own primetime sports program in 2000. She has worked for MLSE doing live, unscripted pre- and post-game broadcasts at Toronto Maple Leafs home games for LeafsTV. Prior to her position at MLSE, Vance was a columnist in 24HRS Toronto for Sun Media. From 2000 to 2005 she was an anchor for Rogers Communications and a sports anchor for CTV News, where she began her broadcasting career.
