Chief Marketing Officer – Canadian Olympic Committee
Derek Kent is the Chief Marketing Officer of the Canadian Olympic Committee. He is responsible for the COC’s social media and digital marketing programs, grassroots community programs, and national advertising campaigns. Kent has won awards for the following ad campaigns: #GiveYourEverything (London Olympics 2012), #WeAreWinter (Sochi Olympics 2014), and #NowOrNever (Toronto Pan Am Games 2015). In addition, he spearheads the development of innovative corporate sponsorship programs for the COC’s corporate partners. Prior to joining the COC, Kent worked at Nike, Inc., most recently as their US Media Relations Director.
